I was thinking of twinking my toon with all the hard gold ive earned and while I was in a battle at warsong gulch a LvL 13 twink ( he had 2500 HP ) told me he got a fractoin of his HP from mining he said it was called toughness I supose there is ranks 1, 2, and 3 so I went on google and it said that rank 1 toughness for mining gives you 30 HP and I could not find rank 2 but I saw a toughnes rank that you get at 225 skill in mining that gives you around 600 HP. So I was wondering if anyone on cheathappens.com could confirm before I go and spend 100 gold at the auction house for twinks for my toon . And also I figured smelting ( or melting your ores into that type of ore bar example : copeer ore can be smelted into a copper bar that gives you skill in mining ) could be useful for quick gold. So if anyone can confirm please reply to this post

as an answer to the frst question: yes you do get an passive ability that gives you hp if you have blacksmith. i myself have an pala blacksmith (though journeyman only) and he has that.

for a good twink expect to pay more than 100g i spent anout 500 on mine all together then leveled it to 24 from 19 lol wasting my gold, but meh.

With future content basically eliminating twinks I would hold off paying a fortune for twinks, because blizz are seriously considering implementing XP for PvP kills.
