i had trouble with that one to damn chopper doesnt want to fly right so after about 7 times i gave up and went for the revenge on Dimitri or what ever his name is, and i was kicking butt and taken names then i shot something in the ship i didnt know and it exploded killing me so i stopped playing and i will try it again tonight after i get done with my work.

you dont have to be right behind him or dont worry about how high you are than him

right after you take off and have the other chopper in your sight dont follow him cus he will just go a bit forward and than he takes a right so right after you take off and go towards the target just keep going stright you will go through two tall building there you will intersept him he will pass you from your left to right there be ready to make a right and than he will make a left (dont worry if you are above him just keep an eye on your radar) and a left agin after going a bit forward

(note - you dont have to fire a single shot jacob will do it when you are over the waters)

than when you are over the waters jacob will tell you to stay on the targets right side (for you the target will be on the left) there the target will be going slow so you can stay on him without much effert (he will be going very slow so now you can come down to his level easily) and just keep the chopper study when jacob fires his RPG (he will miss two or three times and than gets him) and job is done

i got him in second try

oh and dont use the mouse its dam tough use numpad

Think i did something like that to, but I just followed him and jacob shot him over the water. wasn't so hard, think you will manage to do mission now. (If you don't already done it)

Actually how high you go doesnt matter. Eventhough it says that you should "keep low and follow", go as high as you like and chase him. I've always went as high as I can go and the mission doesnt fail. I've yet to do be able to complete this mission 'cause I cant seem to turn fast enough when the bugger doubles back and I lose him while trying to turn

you just need to keep him in sight, thats what I did and I had no problems with that mission.

No matter what I do I never get close enough to the other helo in time due to the hard controls and my Arthritis,maybe someone will come up with mod or trainer function that allows you to follow from a farther Distance through out the mission.People with physical handicaps are not considered anymore in games,there used to be games with a very easy mode selection and they listed that you won the game in the very easy mode so no one could fool anyone about how they won.

i just fly in a bit lower height than the target does and let LJ fire 3 times and BOOM~!!

Yeah I know that, but I'm not so good at flying the game's copters. Anyway, after many, many, MANY tries, frustration is kinda at a high. I just try the mission and when I fail (which I usually do), I load another save slot where I did the revenge path and finished the story and go on a rampage. Mainly involving a vehicle + high pedestrian density location
