Regarding the Mega Trainer (Retail+Steam), Auto-Hack Passwords, No Inventory W....

Is there anyway that I can use the FO3 Trainer with GFWL on? I played through FO3 twice, and it kind of gets a little bit boring.

As I understand it, GFWL periodically scans the memory of your PC looking for outside processes changing values (as trainers do) and if it detects them it shuts the game down, in this case making it look like the game has crashed.

This is why the guys here had so much trouble with GTA4 - because in that case you have to have GFWL running to play the game Caliber had to work some seriously spooky magic to get the trainer to work around GFWL.

I suppose it would be possible for him to do the same with FO3 but at this stage I wonder whether the effort would be worth it just to get achievements.

i haven't had any problems with Fallout 3 and the trainer.

But you can use the built in cheats just fine. they do not disable achievements or anything.
