While I love trainers I think scripting .LUA would be easier for this game with Live making things so difficult.

I just finished beta testing Alice on Vista 32 bit and it's absolutely AMAZING. The script, coupled with Rick's xlive.dll wrapper is quite literally awe inspiring. Unlimited Ammo, Invincability(even from helicopter drops), set health to any level(if you want more difficulty)...there are no limits!

Currently in developement a teleport function!
It would save everyone a ton of time and work if we all just worked together on this project. I am very happy with the results from CH but scripting .lua I think will make things alot easier for you guys.

    Here's wishing a happy holidays.
    Love the site.

Well, this is why I've been a VERY strong advocate of game modification for many years, because it is inherently limited to single player, and simultaneously will always do what it's told to...

That being said, the trainers for countless other games are actually considerably easier or easier as the case may be, and modification of some games can either be tedious or beyond the average user to make use of.

Thankfully modifying GTA4 to basically be "malleable" took about as long as I had figured it would, 3-4 weeks since there was no SDK and R* was actively working on kneecapping the community's progress.

CH did a great job with the trainer and my sincerest kudos for that, because it's very simple and functional. In the long term, more trainers may well pop up, and scrips and full on mods will surface to make GTA4 what many people want it to be for their own enjoyment which is still one of the greatest strengths of a PC game.

The Alice script works fine on x86 and x64 platforms as I've tested it myself quite extensively, and thankfully it isn't limiting any of the player's offensive ability, meanwhile making him effectively indestructible (firing an RPG at your feet, while standing on a car does nothing to you! I tried and giggled sadistically).

The best thing that everyone can do though is to support all avenues of advancement toward making the game play how -you- want it to play. Everyone benefits, and everyone sees the fruit of the labor in multiple areas.

I have a stupid question about scripting, sort of; I tried to use 2 or 3 scripts at the same time... But the game would not start, is there a way to use several scripts without the game not starting? Sincerely, Chopper1987.

mmm... I don't want to seem unhelpful, but simultaneously I'm not exactly sure this site is the best venue for discussing how to make/edit scripts and their functions, just as the workings of CH trainers would be inappropriate to discuss elsewhere (if at all).

I'd recommend a site like GTAForums.com (my best pick), not because here isn't a perfectly good place to discuss cheating/modding/editing, but because sites like that one are more dedicated to that particular area, that specific game, and the people who've actually made the scripts can comment appropriately on their use, support, and compatibility.

After all, it wouldn't be all that effective to ask for info about a CH trainer elsewhere, so if in doubt go to the source.
