So iv just installed the trainer (unpatched) and whenever I enter one oth cheats it either doesnt work than crashes or just crashes and ive been reading around, can someone explaine how to get into dev mode and more importantly how to actualy get the trainer to work.

It depends on what version of the game and trainer you're using. They have to be the same to work properly.

When you get to the main menu in CoH, look at the bottom edge of the screen. You should see a number there (eg. 2.203). Write that number down and then come back here and download the trainer with the same number.

You don't need to be in dev mode to use the trainers. If you want dev mode anyway, got to whatever whortcut or icon on the desktop you use to open CoH. Right click on it and select properties. There should be a box labeled 'Target'. In that bax should be comething along the lines of "C:/Program Files/THQ/Company of Heroes/relic.exe" or similar. Simply add -dev to the end of that string. Very important, it must be OUTSIDE the quotes.

So It'll look like this:
"C:/Program Files/THQ/Company of Heroes/relic.exe" -dev
