hey guy don't know if this will help you but there is a mod that allows you to skip to when your 19 and about to leave the vault called fast start or some thing like that on fallout nexus

Thanks very much, but I have solved that problem by reinstalling. But during the reinstallation, it said it couldn't extract the sound.bsa file, so I really need someone to send it to me. Please. Thanks anyway!

Right. Uninstall your game first, and make sure you have defragmentated your volume first. It says so in the Fallout 3 Readme.txt

Then, as a previous member said: after uninstallation, install again and choose Custom or something. Then, rename the location to "Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Mah Fallout Geam" instead of "Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Fallout 3". This fixes most if not all of your problems.

If you download the sound files and simply put those inside the folder, you get 1 thing:

1. Nothing

Installing things isn't just extracting and putting it in Program Files, y'know.

I got a save here, I just escaped the vault and I haven't exited the wooden door yet. All things are good and I didn't kill the overseer. If you want it, just ask.

Will it work if it isn't in Program files?

So if I just replace the Data folder with the one with the sound files and video files which I found out I didn't have nothing will change?

Yes, I have no video folder. Dangit.
