For those who don't want to read my writeup,

1. Download the xlive.dll wrapper on the linked page.
2. Copy it to your game directory.
3. Enjoy being able to mess with memory.

seriously, that will make it easier, i was trying to re-program some of the functions myself so they would all be editable, this saves me some time.
