The game's probably not optimized for AMD, designwise AMD is faster than pentium Duo clock for clock, but not core 2. I Don't think you can run this game on pentium 1.8 ghz therefore I assume you are talking about core 2 1.8ghz.

Don't know what you all have....
Tried the game on my HTCP (Athlon x2 5000+) and it runs great.
Sure Intel CPU's are better , but they cost much more , also AMD should work good enough point is if you have bad luck your game will run not good even on Intel CPU's.

So far.

game runs better on my Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.01Ghz then my friends core2duo 3.0Ghz.
