Call of Duty: World at War Message Board  

Hi all,this is from dvd on pc - I'm trying to retrieve the airdrop supplies and the japs are pretending to surrender, except when I get the command to " hold your fire" my gun disappears, I can run around the place but can't use guns, or pick up anything, and no extra japs appear. Install problem?

heres your problem all you have to do is wait 5 sec's i may be wrong it might be like 6 or 4 not sure then shot which ever of the japs you want then you'll get all u can handle

is that the same area i'm stuck on, when either the Private or the Sgt (Kiefer Sutherland) get killed, then the ambush is sprung, and you need to use airstrikes??

you do lose your weapon for a short period, try changing weaps to get it back as the cutscene takes place.

They will start to wrestle with those Japs and one of them will trigger a grenade which will blow one of them away.(not sure which one because every time I played they both died)

Before the Japanese triggers a grenade you should get your weapons back. If that's the area.

Because after that, there is no cease fire.

Still no dice, have explored every option and area and still unable to trigger further game play, seems to be an install problem. Solution?- will save program saved game files, reinstall and reinstall saved game files...maybe

ok, solved problem, just needed the good ol' fix 1.1.
