my game wont install...
says incompatible with %p...
can anyone shed light on this???

just search the dvd1 for setup m8 and click that and off u go . Entjoy a great game

I have had the same trouble.
Make sure you install SP1 for Vista or SP3 for XP than it should work.

Well go to my computer then look at youre dvdplayer and rightclick the gta4 one then u get a option to look whats on the dvd and then click on setup.exe m8 . entjoy the game

The most common time you will see the cyclic redundancy check error message is when trying to read data from a damaged CD or DVD. Just before it appears, your CD/DVD drive will probably grind and whirl away - your PC may also become a little slugglish.

Your DVD is broken and setup can't read it.
You just can try to exchange it at shop where you buyed it.
