iam chasing the people who stole the glove off lara in the first level...but iam stuck at a dead end. ive tried swimming out of the ruins but the field assistance tells me to keep looking around in the ruins........................... wot shall i do?

Sounds like a bug. Lara should exit via the same underwater tunnel she used to enter this area.
