Grand Theft Auto 4 (GTA 4) Message Board  

everyone please be nice to Pwizard and Caliber.

GTA4 is Games For Windows LIVE and if any of you downloaded trainers for Halo 2, Gears of War, Fallout 3, Quantum of Solace you know how difficult it is to make trainers for LIVE games.

I don't work for the site or anything but i read through all the crap that was tossed at Caliber during Fallout 3 and i'm just asking you guys to back off this time.

This is a great game with a bunch of built in cheats already that helped me get the game to 100% in under 2 weeks on the 360.

Give the guys some time to get the trainer out and tested. we all know were still going to get a trainer within a week and thats a lot to do for a game as hard to code for as this one.

yup patience is virtue ...... CH always delivers awesome trainers, and we'll know LIVE games are really hard to work with, so just use the built in cheats and let caliber do his magic ...

all i wish to ask regarding the trainer that you guys will be producing -- will it work with both the store bought version as well as the STEAM download version that i have pre-purchased?

Apart from that will sit and wait paitiently playing the free copy of GTA:Vice City i got off steam

yes, i think they need a lot more time to make a really perfect mega trainer,


this game is really a big monster....

1000% impossible to say. Since the game is not out yet everywhere. Once the trainer comes out you'll have to wait and watch the messageboard to see if D2D and Steam people are having trouble.

if it's anything like past LIVE games they will require different trainers than the retail. Hence why i always go retail.

Yeah it's a bit worrying. There was an interview with Rockstar on IGN that said if you disable live the game wouldn't run. That goes for its other components as well.
