I hate the game legend, I love the game titans quest.

I hate games WITHOUT alot of skills and spells and abilities...

i LOVE games with tons of spells and skills and abilities, thats why i liked oblivion and titans quest.....

I hate legend because it had only like 12 spells or abilities....

Main thing i like is tons of abilties.... not attributes and hack and slash...I like diversity....

Does this game have diversity in skills and magic?

example: Fire ball, titans frost armor, super transformation missle attacks........lol you get the point

    hi,

I'm not sure this will help you, as I don't know the game Legend.

Though, as you loved Titan Quest and it's abilities diversity, you should definitely give Sacred 2 a try.

Here is a link to the Sacred 2 demo (huge file, 1,7 Gb) :

    Link

There is another hack'n slash game I've really enjoyed too that has a huge amount of abilities/spells : Silverfall and it's add-on Earth Awakening (a must have if you liked Silverfall, imho) .
This game's publisher has just released a pack that includes both.
I don't know if it's available in USA, but here in France it costs 30 euros (40 dollars).
In this game, you have all the "classics" (the ones you named), and a lot more :
combat arts/powers, nature/technology powers, elemental spells (fire, ice, water, air), divine spells (light, darkness), etc.

with the add-on, you get a new "campaign" with new territories and the ability to craft your own weapons and clothes.

    HI-

I love Titan Quest too and The Witcher, but right now I am playing this game and just loving it. Did not have the first one so have ordered it.

Well, I have never played Legend. Silverfall was ok. I can see how Sacred/Sacred 2 can be compared but that is due to it's open nature. Titan Quest/Diablo are linear. Silverfall and Sacred are open in the aspect that for the most part you can explore the whole world ignoring the main quest (within reason).

In regards to the abilities you basically get 15 "spells/buffs". Granted there are 6 character "classes". So in theory there are up to 90 different spells/buffs in the game. Please note that I have only played with the Seraphim so I cannot say how much overlap there is with the various spells.

I will admit that I quickly lost interest in Silverfall (with the expansion). I will tell you that I really like Sacred 2 because of the beautiful environments, numerous (and I mean numerous) side quests, and the humor. The game logs how long you play and I have logged 40+ hours and I am probably only ~50-60% done (I have been doing all of the side quests). I must say that I am eager to unlock the higher difficulty levels. Also at some point I will play the Dark campaign.

Now, one major downfall (somewhat fixed with the most recent patch) is that the gameworld really is HUGE. You can spend a lot of time going from point A to point B and back again. I maxed out my player's speed (using the trainer) because I think I would go crazy with the distances. With the most recent patch they have added 8 more portals which allow quick transportation between towns/locations.

Overall it is a good game, there are parts/subquests that are truly awesome. If you like to collect items/item sets this game has a ton. There is good variability with the item/item drops as well as the ability to change the rate of drops and item quality (see other threads in the forum). I personally would recommend this game, but I will say if you don’t like large environments with lots of enemies than you may want to steer clear of this game. There are parts of the game I sometimes feel like I am just trudging along trying to get to the next checkpoint in my mission, but granted I kinda like it…

Other games that I have played recently to give you a frame of reference:
Fable 2 -> Awesome! Great sequel.
Fallout 3 -> Good Game (I am somewhat biased. I played the original 1+2)
    Dead Space -> Awesome!
Crysis -> Good/Great (Not quite awesome. Note: I am not a huge FPS fan)
Titan Quest -> Good (Lacks replay value in my opinion)
GTA IV -> Great/Awesome (Great storyline)
X3 Reunion/Terrain Conflict ->Good if you like space sims. Technically very detailed (Huge learning curve)

    Edit:
I thought Witcher was awesome (Enhanced edition was even better)
