I messed up real bad by grabbing a quest item from using the coc testqaitem code for entering the room with all the game items and now that I've reached that part of the quest, it seems I'm doomed. Is there any code to remove a quest item from the inventory?
Btw, the item is the "Fuse" that Dad's suppose to give to you in order to activate the fuse controls in Jefferson Memorial for the Purity Project.
Since I already had it in my inventory, he tells me to go replace the fuse at the fuse access, but does not give me the fuse, and also at the fuse panel I can not replace the fuse either. Any solutions would be appreciated.

the code is player.removeitem <#code> only thing you need to do now is to find out what the code for the fuse is.
funfacts: you can use "removeitem" on enemys, too, as well as "equipitem" and "unequipitem". its just too funny to see a supermutant storming your way with his supersledge, and then suddenly its gone and he starts hitting you with his fists. >=)
i havn't tried it, but i guess you can use the "player.equipitem"-command to equip the powerarmor even if you havn't received the training.
its so fast it can do an infinite loop in thirty seconds!! =)

If you can't find the item code, you can use the command: removeallitems.
Stash anything you want to keep on your follower, or a nearby container, then click your character with the console window open, and type in the command.
However there are three items that won't be affected by this; Col Autumns Laser Pistol (abbe4), the Repellant Stick (2d3b7) and the Pre War Outfit and Watch (abbe2).
The good thing is, unlike Obivion, removeallitems only removes weapons, armor and aid items. Your notes and certain misc items (bobbleheads, holotapes, quest items, etc) won't be removed. Your keys and keyring are also safe.
It will still remove things like scrap metal, pre war books, and fingers, so if you want to keep them, stash them first.
