Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War - Dark Crusade Message Board  

A bit late to be posting this I know, but I still play Dark Crusade as well as all of the others and I do get into modding to a certain extent. Nothing big just changing hit point levels and adding more men, etc., I seldom run into trouble when I'm working with buildings or individuals but often do when trying to add extra vehicles such as the Baneblade, etc., In Baneblade for instance, the original lists, Baneblade 1, Support cap usuage 3, squad load out extension trooper base, unit max 1 unit min 1. Requirements for max display cap 1. Ok I wanted 12 baneblades so I raised the support cap usuage to 12, squad load out I left at 1 for unit max and 1 for unit min, in requirements max display cap I listed 12. Guess what? After the introductory movies etc., the game went back into windows. I've ran into this before and since I've added to most of the vehicles I have no idea of which one is messing things up. I'll have to remove DC and start again. I do this everytime I try it after a HD Crash and so on. I wish someone like Watts or someother bright programmer much smarter than I would make a list of how this works and post here or to my private message box or to my email ad. gbuckner22@charter.net. I've misplaced the data I had on this and it is getting hard the older the game gets, to piece together the information since some of the letters explaing this have been removed. I will gladly accept the help of any kind soul out there who wants to aid a dummy such as myself.
