im absolutely not sure if the lasergatlingun is bigguns or energy weapons.
with my last character i liked the plasmarifle very much. 2 shots to the head killed allmost every enemy.
in addition with reaper sprint changed the way i played massivly.
target an enemy with as many shots possible to the head, if it kills him, target the next with the same amout of shots.
problem is, if you dont kill the targetet enemy, the usual "jump around till your action points refill" starts all over like without that perk. ~=)
i had the alienblaster in my enventory, and i used it a few times, but since it was such a powerfull weapon, i wanted to keep it if things turn ugly or i find an enemy that takes more than 4 shots with the plasmarifle to the head before it dies.
but then . . . *pop*, the game was over and i hadn't any opportunity to use it.
i also liked the sniper rifle very much, tho it sucked in VATS combat, since VATS seems to not use the scope an so missing a lot of shots on larger distances.
right now im playing an /\ 5 5 |-| [] |_ 3 -character with skills on unarmed and small weapons.
spiked knuckels do more damage right now than most of the projectile weapons i have.
problem is, that jericho kills all the smaller enemys we ancounter in the wasts before ich can reach them to land my first unarmed attack.
so im using the chinese assault rifle.
it's more powerfull than the "normal" assault rifle.
and since im doing the "Fallout 3 Promopicture"-character (armored vault-jumpsuit, huntingrifle and dogmeat) i also have a huntingrifle on my back.
Linkbut i'm missing informations about the weapons ingame.
i'd like to know to wich skill certain weapons belong.
bass and spiked knuckles were part of the unarmed skill in fallout 1 and 2. i'd guess they still belong to the unarmed, but i simply don't know.
i might have used the gatlinglaser with my first character, but i didn't know if it was governed by heavy weapons or energy weapons.
my gameguide will need another 3 weeks to arrive here (usa => germany) and i havn't found any guides concerning that topic online anywhere.
maybe someone here knows and would like the share his/her knowledge. =)
