More than likely it will not be going to PS2 unless it gets a huge downgrade in graphics. The cut scenes and game play are supposed to transition seamlessly between the two.
come on konw get some sense...it'll be on PS3 not ps2..and the ps3 performs quieter than the 360 so don't buy it just for one game. ps3 graphics are much neater than the blotchy 360. just play a mp4 file on both systems and you'll see the difference
The graphics for ps3 is better for this game than 360 because it's on a blue ray. Also, this game on the ps3 has 1078 cutscenes, for the 360 they had to trim it down to 768 cutscenes to fit the 3 Dvds.
Sorry to say, XBox 360 Blows PS3 out of the Water, with all the tests run a few days ago with 10 PS3s and 10 360s. XBox 360 Blew PS3 out of space and back to history. I'm sooooo happy to see XBox 360 kick the crap out of PS3, Graphics is Smoother, Loads 3sec faster, can copy to HDD = BlueRay is SLOWER!
If you dont have a 1024i HDTV then shouldnt buy this game.. And XBox 360 Does have 1024 HD and HD Sound.. chew on that one
P.S. They will not Release FF XIII on PC.. - FACT -
BluRay holds a max of 50GB of data, so yes, it is reasonable that it had to be heavily dumbed down for 360.
Second, PS3s have a failure rate of less than 5%, 360 failure rates continue to climb due to RROD and other design flaws and oversights such as the "Circle Scratch Flaw".
Third, both consoles have poor graphical rendering capabilities. Fact. They run on the equivalent of Geforce 7K series chipsets locked at Direct X 9.0C.
Neither console has true HD graphics, but rather 720P Upscaled to 1080P at the most, plus horrible draw distance and no Anti-Aliasing (The consoles use fake AA via blurring the entire image to make the illusion of AA).
Out of either console, when Hideo Kojima has to cut content out of a game that's the most massive non-Sandbox game out to date, it's a testament to how much can fit on one bluray as opposed to 3-4 HD-DVDs.
