before 2.31 you set that to 1000 and you could get unique and rare items in the store. Now it does not work anymore, either because of a softwarehouse screwup or as an anti-cheat thing. Still it ****es me off, i want the goddamned new unics and sets! Will stick with 2.12 till i'll find a way around.
I actually think it is a bug in the new patch.
A way to get the same results without altering the balance text was to create a toon and focus every item/armor/weapon slot and skills on bargaining.
With a high enough bargaining skill, the traders would have the same item selections we have been getting with altering the balance text.
I have tested this now with a toon and pretty much maxxed her bargaining skill.
Still absolutely nothing but whites/blues and some yellows.
I believe they broke Bargaining. In turn this has somehow broken the balance text lines.
Did you try combining the two together?
High bargaining with high balance settings?
I wonder if we should go really REALLY high on the balance and see if that fixes it...
Like.. instead of 1000 or 10000 go to 1000000000
The toon I created for bargaining was done on a balance text with the trader set to 10000.
Still nada.
I also tried raising it to 45000, then 450000. I did do 1000000 as well, not with the bargaining toon, but still nada.
The official forums have people complaining about Bargaining not working so I assume it is a bug.

I tried setting these to 10,000. The game crashed after a item dropped. So I left it at 1000. I was hope for there to be a way to add more slots, but no luck. I tried changing the values here but it didn't do anything. Also I don't know what determines getting either bronze, silver, or gold slots.
Reason being, whenever I set ALL the others to 1000, Items LOST stats to be replaced with a slot.
As an example, I had a short sword that had an inherent +8 to Dexterity and +3 to Dual Wield and had 2 slots. I changed the slotted stats, all to 1000 and that short sword lost the Dexterity and Dual Wield bonuses and now had 3 slots.
Quite a big loss IMO. I have yet to find a ring or necklace that gives both of those bonuses, that high, on one item.
So by playing around some more with the numbers I found the above numbers work much much better.
Virtually everything is slotted and NOTHING loses inherent skills to be replaced with a slot.
I have not found a way to increase the # of slots though. That's prolly some in game mechanic somewhere.
From 1 Monster I can Get: 1 - 10 Yellow Armors, 1 - 15 Gold Armors, Exactly 3 Runes from 1 monster!!(For the Hero I am Playing 'In This Case Seraphim Runes') About 1 - 15 bags of gold And about 1 - 10 Potions
I do get books every like 5 mins too lol, I've even got some useless ones, even a useless gold pendant as well.. But No Green Armors as of Yet

The Seraphim hairstyle works, its just the same exact model used for the "dying Seraphim" in the beginning intro, when you select a "Seraphim" to play as... And is also used on the "evil murderous seraphim" in the first main city!!
NOTES: Sadly you cannot change the color of this hairstyle.. If you try to the models "invisible" ponytails become apparent and you have to re-style your character's hair again ~~~~~~~~ 2.)
