i can't tell if i updated to 1.2 or not cuz the 1.2 trainer isn't working for me

One clear sign is when you start up the game and it asks you to update, if it doesn't, you are on the latest version. You can also see it in the options menu/settings.

If you have "Total Commander" (a programe) go to this game derictory and move your cursor on the game it will show you the version.
If someone wants more cheats go to these sites www.chemax.ru , www.gamecopyworld.com and www.cheats.ru And heres a site with MODS on some of the games like CS:S www.fpsbanana.com

find the main executable (sporeapp.exe) right click it, select properties, click the version tab in the menu and the file version line should tell you what version you have
