good and neutral chars go back to "vault dweller" and evil characters crash the game.
so it doesn't make much sense to use that mod yet . . .

just throwing hints like "450 meg mod pack" into this thread doesnÄt help much. =)
but i think there is enough space in the game to add expansion packs seamlessly.
eg. the radiostations all over the map.
Expansions or sequels will be hard to come by. If they choose to follow Oblivion's recipe, we may see a random expansion here and there, but the first priority is the SDK.
As a fallout game, it dictates it needs mods, rather than expansions imo. Why? Because anything "new" (and by new, I mean missions, we all got the vibe of the lone ranger from the main mission anyways, doubt they'd change that, no matter how much pressure the fans would put on them) would be a waste of time in F3's world.

Nuclear Technology got a large push in Fallout Universe, as war has. There had always been open hostilities between USA and Japan/China in Fallout, resulting in World War III 2077, which destroyed most of the world.
