Which is your favorite soldier from Medieval 2 Total War? I like the dismounted norman knights

The best units are Retinue Long bows. Put 3 of them on a hillside/cliff/wallwith some heavy infantry nearby and garenteed victory

In seiges, put them on the walls and soot flaming arrows at advacing seige equipment and Victory is yours.
Sherwood archers are better for ambushes

For seiges i use Mercanery Monster Bombards or Mercanery Rocket Launches!
