Pokemon Silver/Gold Message Board  

i have a pokemon games: red and silver, i got two gameboy advances one of them is purple and a see-through one, i have 2 fresh cables never been used before, and i tried trading them and i even tried swithcing cords but either i get and i quote " your fiend isn't ready" "this area is reserved for 2 friends who are linked by cable" "this link is closed due to inactivity" if anyone at all can please help me then thank u

You have to beat the first gym to trade. But between FireRed and Silver, you have to beat both of the games and complete the Pokedexes.

wat do you mean i have to complete both pokedexes do i have catch every single pokemon that can be caught in the wild 🤔 and i dont have fire-red i have the original red version

When you get to ecruteak city bill will come out of the pokemon center he tells you the time capsule is almost ready wait about one day and go to the time capsule on the second floor (far right machine)and you will be able to trade from to each other if that doesnt work you may need to get new cables/gameboys
