I finished the game in 9 hours when i was told it would take around 100 and you cant even free roam after you beat it thats kinda lame....

You obviously didn't do everything available.

Theres no way he did all the available side quests and searched for all the Items!

I know, why rush through such a great game?

Yeah i just did the main missions but i wish it had a free roam i never even found the sniper rifle :/

core missions. even without cheating can easily be done in 7-12 hours.

But the side missions, scouting for items, and doing everything (which is how you should play the game) is easily 50-100 hours without cheating.

The reason why the game ENDs is that unlike Oblivion theres just the main quest and side quests. where as oblivion had the main storyline and then 200+ other missions. Fallout has 17+.

That and the originally fallouts had real endings so thats also why the game ends.

true but as i remember correctly you can still play on after you finish the main quest in fallout 2.
