    Regarding the Cheats & Hints.

Can anyone provide the perk name abbreviations to use with the ADDPERK console command?

I tried using ADDPERK but the actual long names of the perks don't work, so I'm assuming that there must be perk name abbreviations or codes to use with the ADDPERK command.

Anyone know how to effectively use the ADDPERK command?

Thanks so much SMehan. I just realized that the "spell" codes were actually for the perks. Thanks for pointing it out for me.

One perk code that is missing from the list (I also checked the list on the official forum) is "Explorer".

You're only partially right. The "player.addspell" command works to add the effect of the perk only, you don't actually have the perk. The "player.addperk" command would add the perk and probably the appropriate effect but doesn't use the same codes as addspell does for the same effect. So until someone finds the codes for the addperk command this is just the next best thing.

Thanks Kiriai. That's what I suspected....that the "ADDSPELL" command only gives you the temporary effect of an actual perk, while the ADDPERK command was for actually adding permanent perks. I guess I will hold off on using the "ADDSPELL" command and just wait for the "ADDPERK" codes.

We also need a command to remove perks once they're obtained. There are some perks that I don't like and I don't think many of yall will like once you see that they are a bit much.

The bloody mess perk is a bit much once you're decked out with everything else. A BB gun will blow all the limbs off an enemy when you were aiming for the head. It kills the VATS system IMO since what's the point of using it to aim at a specific limb if you're just going to blow them all of anyways.

I also don't like the stranger perk since some weirdo shows up looking like **** Tracy and starts shooting at the enemies with a .44 magnum when you use the VATS system. It's just a bit too much IMO and I'd like know how to remove it. In the meantime, I guess I'll just go back to an earlier save game point when I didn't have those two perks on.

    Would player.removespell # work?

Explorer only shows you where everything is on the map. That's the same as the tmm1 command. I'd strongly recommend not using that perk or the tmm1 command if you want to find things on your own. That's what really makes this game fun.
