@Spidus " have changed the Fallout3.exe security file to Fallout3.exe.cat_bak. But the trainer cannot find game, I have tried to reboot and trainer still cannot find game. I'm not sure what else to do".

I have the same probleme. i have well rename the right file (fallout.exe.cat) in fallout.exe.cat_bak . I rebooted the pc but when i lauch the trainer then, the game, Press F1 on menu allow me to hear again the "Trainer canot find game" .
I have windows XP and use the retail version french.

If it can't find the game then your version of the game doesn't match the trainer or something is blocking it. We've already made 3 different versions of the trainer, who knows if there are more different exes out there.

all i did was change the FALLOUT3.EXE TO FALLOUT3.BAK and it worked for me. i just removed the .EXE all together.

not sure if you know jayce_13, but its the file with a yellow band around what looks like 3 pieces of paper.

it worked for like a day for me now i keep ctd no matter what i do any help?

I used the trainer several times, sometimes it will not crash my game at all. Sometimes it simply crashes in about 5 minutes.
I have no idea what causes this to happen.

Not really a big deal however if you ask me, especially as I finished the game today Besides, most things can be accomplished through the console. The trainer is just an extra toolkit to do certain stuff.
