you dont lose your saves, just moved your savegame files up one folder.

tgm is infinite ammo same as oblivion i use tgm i dont run out ammo

It may just be a long day, and new to the forum, but when you say---move up one level...do you mean copy and then place the copy in the previous folder. My folder opens to the saves folder and then I see my live account saves. What do I do exactly? Thanks for the help. I already changed the .cat file to the other.

i was wondering that too, do i copy and paste just my live saves or the folder they are in too? (my live saves are in "backudog" folder which is my live name do i copy that folder or just the saves in it?)
also after doing all that, can i run the trainer and/or use cheats to boost my character, then turn off the trainer, put all the files back where they started off , rename the live file back to its original name and then continue playin with my boosted character and still get achievements? or are you doomed to not get achievements if you cheat?

It's working. I did what everyone was saying...took the Live saves and copied them into the Saves folder...so in my case the saves folder opens and there is the files...along with the original Live saves folder still in tact.
Changed the .exe...which in my case didn't say .exe.cat, but just .exe. added what everyone said to add and Re-booted! Before I didn't reboot and my saved files were gone, but now it works flawlessly...I rebooted again just to confirm that where I was at before was actually saved. I quick save through the whole game...I don't wait for the auto-saving too often.

ok yay at last no problem with the trainer nor the save game issue anymore

HOWEVER.....
just got the dish that 3 dog wanted, its now installed.
and when i return to see 3 dog he aint anywhere in the GNR building ??

is this a glitch if so is there a fix ? or if not where the hell is he hiding
