I had a problem where it would popup the crash window, but then I could alt-tab back in.
After a few mins, then I would get a crash window and the game shut off.
How I fixed it? I waited on the menu screen playing around with windows live for 5 mins or so until I got that first crash window, then I didn't get the other one again.

still for me it crashes i changed fallout3.cat into Wft.cat.bak but orginal trainer not and i updated to 1.1.0.35 version pressing F1 and says game ativided and game closes my english spelling is poor because i'm lituanian

i know this is probably in the wrong thread and the wrong board but ive been doing as you say and it worked fine b4 but since ive gotten the Pitt DLC the trainer crashes the game no matter what, with or without LIVE...could it be because of the game being ver 1.5????

i actually have less crashes after the ver 1.5 update but thats because i dont use the trainer

I enjoy playing Fallout with just cheating for money so I can buy supplies. I just launch the trainer, wait to get into the game, trigger the trainer and give myself money, then save before it crashes. Then I just play fair after that without the trainer and with lots of money.

game for me still crashes -- without trainer and with no DLC's
just started last week when i boosted my Nvidia drivers to v185, as i also had an issue with EVE and UT III (which is a nightmare to play after huge Black patch).
unsure if the games version changes when you add the DLC's -- will find out at the end of the month when i buy the combined add-on pack.

does anyone realize u just have to use the "tilde" kay, and input tgm, it enables god mode. its not that hard and btw games 4 win doesnt detect tgm as a modification and i have almost every trophy for fallout 3 now.
if u want to have a dirty harry .44 that provides instant kills type in
Player.Additem 50f92 1,100 Also try perfect weapon health Player.SetWeaponHealthPerc 100 if u cant find the time to type that awesome code list in then ur lazy,lol,jk....
