Yeah, the last 2 badges (the ones which are Question marks) both relate to the Grox. One of them is "Dance with the Devil" and that's forming an Alliance with the Grox, and the other is "Badge outta Heck", which is Beating the Grox.

    Good luck.

Well I allied with the Grox again just last night, so dang funny when you do, suddenly the left half of your screen is filled with communiques from other worlds, all declaring war on you, and when you pass through any new parts of space, it fills with red bubbles.

One thing is for sure, you hardly ever have to heal the Grox vessel in your fleet, he kicks enough arse on his own.

It's also well worth the feeling of achievement you get, when flying towards the core and all you see is green and hundreds of planets in your alliance.

The key is to make first contact, don't avoid them, establish embassies on the outer rim territories of their space, fly from wormhole to wormhole to get to the core, do as many missions as you can (max points is 50), Super happy ray get's you 30, blow up planets of other races close to their space (50 pts max), turn off your auto turret to avoid blowing up their ships, cloak when on their planets, throw up your shields to avoid destruction when you can... That's about it really, they only have negative 70 points against you to start, and of course, once the face turns blue, start trading (30pts) so it's pretty simple really!

Kind of a garbled walkthrough I just did, I didn't even know I was giving tips till I finished typing it! HAHA 😵

personally i prefer to literally turn the planet into a ball of lava. fly in and drop a half dozen or so meteor showers while using the heat ray. fries the t-score and pretty much "knee-caps" the colonies on the planet. then i just drop an antimatter bomb or three for the colonies and leave. a bit more complicated than blowing the whole thing up but... somehow more satisfying . besides if they sneak behind you and re-colonize it'll just be a t0 colony.

on a side note, why do you have to be on the planet to use the planet buster? i mean, if you were going to blow a planet up, would'nt it be a good idea to be a good distance away from it before it goes boom?

so did any of you already figure out that the grox live on t0 planets.
one way to beat them is to bring up planets that they inhabate to T1

    Things that make Grox happy:
    Happy Ray/Fireworks
Using WMDs on OTHER races (even uninhabited planets works for planet buster)
    Place an Embassy
    Gracious Greeter power
    Doing Missions
    Bribery
After you have the treaty start up trade routes to boost happiness, otherwise they'll quickly go back to war with you

Befriending the Grox has one big advantage - you can populate the empty worlds in Grox space and never, ever have to worry about anyone but the Grox. The downside is that you can't trade items with them, so everything you do has to be in-house. No more discounts from other personality types. Of course, by the time you get to the Grox you've probably got all the items you need, so...

Personally, I've never beaten the Grox. Takes WAY too long. You'll be spending the next year of weekends terraforming and blasting cities. One thing to note is that you don't have to place plants or animals to kill them, just put the terrascore ring into T1 or higher. This allows you to move while using your terraforming tools, meaning the Grox will have a hard time shooting back as you kill them. Just circle the planet constantly while shooting the appropriate ray or planting the appropriate item whilst occasionally using an energy refill.

Of course if you're using the trainer just hit the core and get the Staff of Life. Turn on infinite items. Blast Grox, populate system or leave it "barren", repeat ad nauseam. The only problem with this strategy is that you're usually waiting for the Staff to cooldown.
