ye cos i would like to hex edit and have done some real simple stuff but this is all a bit over my head.
could any1 tell how u could get the chevelle and roadrunner in career as they are awsome cars.
Just use a trainer or unlocker. These will let you buy any car in the game and place it into your garage.
The only reason to hex edit is to remove or add vinyls or similar parts that normally aren't available in the game. For example, the Darius and BMW M3 vinyls are special and normally not accessable, they can't be added or removed without using hex editors. The Audi Lemans also has a special darker side panel part that also requires hex editting to add it (the darker panel is used with the Darius vinyl, but I used it for my "black" cars savegame).
