They take everything and put their own little twist on it. I mean how else are we supposed to get our food? It was intended for us to eat and use these creatures, otherwise they wouldn't be here.
Wow.... "We applaud PETA's novel approach to bringing attention to an issue, but we believe a mother's milk is best used for her child."
Sorta a insult/joke
@serivor, Yeah you have a point. Also if it wasn't men't for us or the world it would have died out... Either by us killing it because it has no need to live or some other thing.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- You look like a *****.
@serivor-I think what PETA doesn't realize is, if we don't eat animals, we don't eat. Well, there's still fruits and veggies, but we'd lose a very large source of our food.
No eating animals=less food=hungry people=cannibalism

i am content with stopping the slaughtering of cows...as long as those at PETA take the cows' place ;]
seriously though, think about how many farmers would go broke if the national livestock market were to crash for the sake of 'fair treatment to animals'
those people need slapped.

Evolution has seen fit to equip much of humankind (most European people, many Asian people and some African people, statistically speaking) with a special ability to fully digest lactose derived from other animals. It is a relatively recent evolutionary change and one which can develop or disappear in just a few generations in a given population.
It would be a shame to waste it.
Re: Cows
I don't have a problem with slaughtering/eating animals. But there is no reason why they should be tortured in the process. One of the less-whacko animal rights advocates (I forget her name, but she happens to have a rare mental disorder that gives her a unique perspective into the mind of an animal and still allows her to operate on a superior intellectual level) has a good system for slaughterhouses, one which allows the animals to be blissfully ignorant of what lies ahead until they are killed instantly.
The alternative is herding them into an obvious slaughterhouse with scent of frightened death wafting all over them and dismembering them as they still live.
The hormones released by sheer animal terror do not make the meat any better.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, 'Make us your slaves, but feed us.'
I watched a PETA video which showed what some did to these animals. I then went downstairs and saw a porkchop on the stove. So me and my nephew said our farewells and gave it a "porkchop funeral"
