thank you for the updated trainer for the witcher enhanced edition "hotfix" aka patch 1.4.5.303.

my game version is 1.4.5.303 but i have to w8 a LOT of time to get the trainer for free...but thx for the trainer

I've been trying for hours to get this thing to work over and over, but nothing happens. I've tried reading the troubleshooting guide and seeing the tips. However, this doesn't seem to help. I go into the game, press F1 at the main title screen like the trainer says. However, the trainer says it "Cannot find game". I don't understand why it cannot locate the game. I put the game into the same directory as the Witcher 2. Still, it doesn't work. I don't understand what gives.

I just realized the problems I have could be the version of the game I have. However, I have the most up to date version. The launcher automatically updated me to this version. So, I don't know what other version there could be.

I can confirm that the most recent trainer works with the most current update. First I suggest that you try to manually update the game to v1.5. You can do that here Link. If that does not work, then I can only suggest you go through the troubleshooting process once more. The only time I ever had this instance occur was due to an incorrect version of the game. My feeling (since you have already gone through the troubleshooting process) is that your auto-updater did not bring you up to date with the current version. Good luck, and be certain to post your results. If this fails, insure that you post all the other things that you have tried. Specifics make it much easier to help you narrow down the solution.

UPDATE: Overlooked this on the page. "Registering The Witcher through the Launcher is not supported any more." Put simply, you need to manually update your game.

I just bought the game in Steam...was expecting it to be the latest/greatest but no...i tried every trainer in here and nothing, zilch, nada...start trainer, start game, press F1...big uggly nothingness...HELP!!

None of the trainers works for me, when i start up the trainer it imidiatly stops working when it tries to authenticate it...
I'll try get an offline key-thingy for it to see if that will work... somehow... if not, then the trainers need to be fixed...

It's not that they don't work for the game, since i can't test that, they CRASH the very moment they try to authenticate...

I got Windows 8 (64-bit) version...

EDIT:-- Okay then, just tried with Avast disabled, and no internet to try and see if that would "save my day", but i was wrong...

Maybe that info will help, maybe it's just a waste to put that here...

To me it seems that "URLMON.dll" is at fault here...

My guess would be a typo or a wrong authentication link...
Have the Authentication server/link changed since this trainer was made?

Well i don't know how this trainer actually authenticate, i'm just wild guessing, but i hope it gets fixed soon... so i can have a bit of fun cheating in this game...

Go to your uninstall applications in the control panel and in the left column, click on "View installed updates". Search for KB2718695 (IE10) and uninstall it. Afterwards please disable KB2718695 from Windows Update. IE10 is known to cause issues with authentication.
