Well, I suppose you guys don't know a way of putting the names of the planets right on top of them, do you? I'm about to go crazy with the space stage. I mean, you go to a recent formed colony or some ally and ask for a mission. He tells you to go to planet 'name' and do 'whatever'. The thing is, THERE'S LIKE INFINITE PLANETS AND I DON'T FEEL LIKE WANDERING AROUND EACH ONE 'TIL I FIND THE PLANET THAT ASKED ME TO GO TO! I mean, all the other stages were awesome but this is just torture. I was playing the other day and this enemy kept attacking one of my colonies. And I just couldn't find that home planet to utterly destroy him. I think my planet got raided about 6 times when I finally found his planets. But when I finally found it, I was so ****ed that instead of capturing him, I destroyed everything. And I still don't regret it.
Anyway, do you guys know how to show the planet's names? Thanks

If yougo to the bottom left, where it shows what you want to show on the galaxy, click on missions. that helps a lot

Yeah with the missions button toggled usually you get a line that directs you to the system you have to go to. If they give you vague directions like within 2 parsecs of such and such system then you'll get an arrow to the reference system with a red circle defining the max distance from it.

and you can go to the sporepedia and type in the name of the planet in the search field, if you already visited the system with this planet it will be listed there and you can "follow" the planet. that means there will be a flag over the planet/system (like home system).

as far as I played, the target system was never very far away from the planet where I got the mission. maybe 1 1/2 "max flight radius" away so it shouldn't be hard to track down the circle around the "hint planet" (the target system must be anywhere in this circle)
