Is Spore a Point and Click Game?? on Spore PC Message Board - Page 1

Hi-

I would like to know if Spore is a mouse only game, meaning I only use the mouse to play it?? If anyone could answer I would appreciate it.

can use either mouse or keyboard, you can move your creature around by clicking the ground, clickin the creature to attack, click the icon for the sort of attack you want to use, or you can move your creature with the arrow keys on the keyboard and push the button to the use specific attack

so far in the first 4 stages its possible to play usings only one or the other, or any combination of the 2, although playing with the keyboard only might get frustrating at times

not sure about stage 5 yet (space part) hadnt really played it to much

You have to name you creatures (dont remember right now if there is a random feature for the names), for that you need a keyboard. you also need a keyboard in the editor for copying parts (ALT) and fine-adjusting (TAB). The most other parts are possible without keyboard. Except for the cell phase.. I cant recall right now but I think its keyboard only.

cell phase is keyboard to if ya want, just hold down left mouse button and your creature swims at your pointer, hold it down over food and it eats/attacks it
