If you are like me and have no patience then you don't want to bother with always going on a shopping trip to other planets so i found this code in the game that stops the number of items going down: " Inf items - Change of 007d7ed0 - 2b d0 - sub edx,eax " im using the no-cd exe from Spore.Crackfix-RELOADED.
You can use CoSMOS 5.4 to use this code or some other memory editor or maybe the guys here can put this in their trainer.

Yeah, some clarification on this would be great. I hate having to make shopping runs. Can you give us some information, please?

Hmmm nice one, but is that a static address? I thought games aren't made with static addresses anymore, only pointers.

Anyway, to clarify for those who don't understand, what this nice person gave you is an address in the active game's memory, wich can be edited freely using a program like CoSMOS.

What the program does is scan the memory for a value you input, then list the addresses, then allows you to modify them.

It also comes with a built-in debug engine for finding pointers (wich are addresses that point to others, thus making it possible to have the same address for a task every time the game loads/is restarted).

Simply put, it grants you the ability to make your own cheats/trainers.

Note that the pros (like the CH peeps I'm sure) use different programs for the scanning/debug/making trainers (usually in VB, although some are made in amazing ways and the look/feel of the trainer app impresses more than it's use), but it's a damn good program to learn.

is there a way to change static addresses with artmoney?
its the tool i usually use, but i think i can only search and sieve values assigned to a programm or process.

would be great to know that, because i dont want to install yet another tool. ~=)

I have CoSMOS, I go to Add Adress manually after selecting SporeApp from the process list.
Where do I enter all of those numbers? When I only enter 007d7ed0 into the adress field and lock it it does not work. I do not see any fields where " - 2b d0 - sub edx,eax " might fit in.

The part where it says "007d7ed0 - 2b d0 - sub edx,eax" is the upper section of the Memory Viewer.

Just open CE, select the process, press the "Memory view" button, right-click on any address in the upper section and select "Go to address" then type 007d7ed0, then you'll see it.

Now's the part that was not said, right click on the address and either select "Replace with code that does nothing" (wich does just that, nothing, when you use an item it won't decrease in number), OR you can double-click the line and replace "dec edx,eax" with "add edx,eax", this will add instead of decreasing the item.

Simple really.

NOTE: this only works for the normal items, not for the cargo stuff. You'll still have to hunt for plants/animals...

I can make a simple trainer so everyone can use this cheat.
I made it so that you have unlimited item (change to 99 for each item on use of item)
