the Price is $49.99 you don't have to pay shipping and Handling

I save more money by buying from Direct 2 Drive give it a try it's easy and the download speeds are very very high it took me only 1 hour to download.

What shipping and handling? I cant remember the last time I had to pay for postal delivery of a game, nowadays all offer free postal delivery. And taxes, well you will pay taxes from the purchase from D2D too.

So basicaly the real difference is that from D2D you get it immediately but have no hardcopy for it. Still better to buy hardcopy and wait, IMHO.

I've paid £24.99 and pre-ordered in June '08, got the game with the post of 5th Sept.

most games today dont have things you would miss when buying a D2D-version.
there is no printed manual, a lousy dvd-box and sometimes a registrationcard.

so if i get a version without any physical part on it (D2D or 'Decentral Backup Copy') i dont miss anything.
and thats the part, that ****es me off: you pay full price for a game, and all you get is the absolute minimum possible.
several years ago you got: a carton box that you could put in your shelf and looked good, a color printed manual with pictures in it, that weren't full of visible JPG-artefacts, a game, that usually didn't need 5 to 10 patches to become playable (Bananaware).
    today everything is different.

exactly thats the reason i buy the collectors editions of games, that i really like and want to support.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. had a nice box and a whole book with itand Bioshock had a cool miniature Big Daddy.
now Spore has a nice carton-box, an artbook, a color printed manual with >100 pages and 2 extra dvds with a making of and a doku on it.
thats worth the money and i happily give it away for that!
