Well since Darkish walked all over your post I'll say you really said yes but he changed it.
If darkish did change it, then ES would have changed it back. Because ES didn't change it back, that proves that Darkish didn't edit the message, he just posted a response indicating that he was laughing out loud at the exchange between you and ES.

Also, there seems to be a general consensus that ES said no. And just because an anomaly like darkish has to walk over everyone's posts doesn't mean the message is reversed. So ya, he said no.
