okay regarding the end of halo 2 and the (hopeful) release of halo 3 game/movie(please bungie help me here)what do you think the ark is?

i actually think it is that message (for those with the LE box) in the conversations from the universe booklet. read the first handwritten message. i think the thing that these archaeoligists have found is the ark.

but i'm open to any other suggestions. gimme your ideas, gimme gimme gimme!

I think that the ark was built by Noah. it had 2 of every aminals and floated on water when it rained lots and lots
cos God wanted to kill. then he said
U NOT KILL!!!!!
And now they found remains of boat.
I htink that the humans were an experiment of the forerunners. We were placed on earth to protect and possibly activate the ark from those seeking to use it as a weapon. We dont conciously know our jobs because they modified our brains and subconciously we continually protect the ark. thats why the monitors are so excited to see u and call u weird names.

ps. Why did Truth decide to travel to earth when he thought that activating halo would begin the great journey??????????

good question. maybe he knew about what would happen at the halo and he hated the covenant and wanted to kill everyone cos he's evil like that.

I thought it was pretty obvious, why did Regret go to earth in the start of the game, not knowing Humans where there? the ARK is on earth! thats why Regret wasnt expecting humans, why would the ancestors build the ark on earth? Also, that weird eiffle tower shaped ship rockets towards earth when truth begins "the great journey", the ark is somewhere on earth, thats where halo 3 will be

But the pophets dont seem to know about the ark. and the great journey didnt have anything to do with the ark. all they needed to do was activate 1 Halo to start the great journey. Yet Truth left before the humans stole the Sacred Icon having no reason to doubt that the Great Journey would begin.
And yea i think that the Ark is on earh and will be the main purpose of H3 I sure hope so. I want mainly earth based Halo
