Again, with the Gold version, you can play the original game from the Sunken Dragon. There was no point in releasing two separate trainers when one works for everything.

Yeah if you had the original game and update to 1.4 gold via the Aspyr patch, this trainer doesn't work at all apparently.
I don't think the CH guys quite realize that you don't get the Sunken Dragon stuff with that patch.

We realize that, but the actual game we're talking about is "1701 A.D. GOLD" which we purchased and has both the original and Sunken Dragon. This is what we made a trainer for, this 'combo' pack and the Sunken Dragon standalone (listed here --> Link).
We may go back and update just the original game trainer to 1.04 at some time in the future.

trainer works GREAT for the second half of the gold edition my question is do we have to beat sunken first to unlock the missions in the first cd to use the trainer for that?

Really, the trainer doesn't work for the first CD of the gold edition. It does work for sunken dragon. Wish you did have one for the first tho. oh well, I guess.

sorry guys but im having a small problem with my anno 1701 v2.03 gold edition trainer version.i downloaded both types from cheat happens menu,extracted it,ran it,disabled my antivirus program and still having a problem with the trainer.
Ok,this is what i do: 1.i run the trainer 2.i run the game 3.i push F1 and hear "activated"-i cant spell it right now-srry 4.go into gameplay-mainly continous play 5.when i start building anything,the game crashes and boots me out altogether..
im thinking that the trainer is either not working due to it beening old or its something else-the game plays find without the trainer activated.Heres the thing,im trying to go thru the campaigns and having trouble getting past mission 4-i know the trainer isnt designed for it but im also having probs in continous play as well-trying to win easier than having to fight for hours as it gets harder-can anyone help me plz???
