Drakensang: The Dark Eye Message Board  

If for any reason you are unable to find the Harpy egg in Moorbruck, there is a way to jump over this request.

In the game, go to Rakonius and save the game. Open the saved game with SQLite Database Browser, load the save game (my documents\Drakensang...\save... savegame.dsa

go to the "Browse Data" latch

1) Open table _Story_Tasks
go to the 500+ row called "loc04_quest_rakorium"
below that you will see the subtasks of the quest.
the harpy egg one is "loc04_quest_rakoriumloc04_task_felsenvitrolloc04_subtask_harpyienfedern"
set the TaskState to "closed" and set for loc04_quest_rakoriumloc04_task_valonion the TaskState to "unlocked"

2) Open table _Instance_Trigger
look for "loc04_trigger_cutscene_valonion" in the column Name (is on a 500+ row).
Set the TriggerActive in the next cell to the right to 1

Save database, exit SQLite and start the game
load the savegame and a few seconds after the cutscene with Valonion starts and you end up fighting with him as you would have by giving Rakonius all 3 ingredients

You can skip 1) but then you will continue to have the quest active even after you kill Valonion
