Right I downloaded the trainer and it works fine, but after about 10-15 minutes of gameplay soulstorm closes down with no error message and leaves me on my desktop with the trainer still running. I read the troubleshooting guide but found no help reading from it, I was hoping that someone out there could help? Thanks in advance.

Well, assuming that you tried everything in the troubleshooting guide and followed the instructions given in the readme, I can't see what could have gone wrong. I'd recommend going to the boards over there and seeing if anyone else is having the same problem.
Honestly, I had a problem a couple of months ago and this sounds just like what was going wrong with mine. After trying every single thing through the troubleshooting guide, I went to the last ditch effort of uninstalling and reinstalling. I still kept my gamesaves and the trainer actually went without a hitch for me after that.
It was actually Civilization IV that I was having problems with, but I uninstalled and reinstalled the game.
I also don't know if the UK has another version type of Soulstorm. Our trainers look for an exact piece of code from the game, and even the slightest change in that code could affect the trainer.
