Chef Butcher's Task - Stones???

I know that to craft Chef Butcher's fire I need to have stones, a shovel and small sticks. I have the last 2, but I can't find any stones and dont actually know what they look like. Everywhere I dig I only get rocks, flint and roots. What do I do??

sticks wash up on the beach in the crates but the fastest place to find them is walking through the forest before u get 2 miss weeders place. i want 2 no where do i get the shovel?
