4 Gigs of RAM? You're dreaming. XP can't utilize more 3,5 GB, so what're you're saying is that having XP will make you unable to have the highest possible specs. I'm sorry, but you're simply wrong. It's ported from X360, not super-über-next-nextgen console.

well XP CAN utilize 4 gigs, if its 64-bit. and actually the box and ps3 versions were pretty crapped down to fit the console's power, i guess they will just restore some of the former quality and make decent optimization.

Have anyone here been in the state were you have a PC wich can handle every game that your eye catches? am im just a spoiled kid who is dying for GTA4? Or a senseful geek who knows what he is speaking of becouse

right now i do. over the last year i've run bioshock, COD4, UT3, Gears of War, Mass Effect, Crysis, DMC4, GRID, R6Vegas2 and world in conflict all on max settings (dx9)

my system:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 3.1Ghz
4GB DDR2 PC2 6400
ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT (hoping to upgrade to 3870 or 4870 soon.
average hard drives. total of 1TB of space.

Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit. 5.3 experience rating. only down because of the crappy average hard drives.

cpu core2duo 4500 2.2ghz
gpu 8600 gt 512mb, 128bit
2 gigs of ram, 667mhz
250gb hdd.

doesnt matter tho, i just hope to play gta on minimal settings.

Uhm.. Restore what exactly??? It was made for those consoles. Anyway, I wouldn't worry so much. You'll probably be able to play it fine. Don't think it's going to be insanely demanding, like some seem to think.

well, it HAd a kickass visual style, but they had to chop it down to fit the consoles, so i hoped the'd "restore" it
im just trying to be smart.
about the games demands, its still depends on the quality of the port :| but normally i should play, yes.
