Back-story: Abandoned at age 9, Twain wandered the streets for almost a year, until one day a old man picked him up and took him to his house in the mountains. When the old man, simply named "Ryu" asked Twain of his name, he hesitated, and created a new name, shaving away the last remnats of his past. No one knew, or still knows anything about Twain's past, and the only thing the old man knows is his name and how old he is. Other than that, Twain speaks nothing of himself. As the old man raised him and schooled him in the ways of the world, he became a normal boy, except for anything to do about talking about his past or himself. At age 18, when the old man was too weak to carry on, and taught Twain everything he could, Ryu gave Twain something that was unknown, but it was sprital and was full of something, natural, but of what Twain did not know. After recieving these gifts, whatever they were, Ryu sent him off to live in the real world. When Twain returned one year later, Ryu was gone, with a new family living there. When Twain asked where Ryu went, the family said they knew no previous owner by that name, and they were the first to occupy this house in 9 years. Which surprised Twain greatly, for 9 years ago was when Ryu took him here. He was confused, and returned to his apartment in the city of CHU, and pondered what had happened. He had stabilized his life, with a good job, apartment, and health. But something was stirring in the city, something evil, something bad. And there was something starting to flow in Twain's veins too, but, just like the future, he was uncertain of what it was and what was to come.
