Link Trainer keys to XBOX controler? on Devil May Cry 4 PC Message Board - Page 1

Hi All!!!

Very happy with the latest version of the trainer.
Have one general question.

I am playing this on my HTPC with XBOX 360 WiFi controller connected through the USB. Works like a charm.

But is there any way to link some of the Trainer buttons to the Xbox controller keys through the trainer customiser?

That's an interesting concept and question. Did you try it? If the customizer won't recognize the button presses, then if the game will let you, customize the controller's buttons to keyboard commands (where pressing RT actually is the same as pressing "R" for instant) and then use the customizer. Might work..

Another way to do this is to use xpadder and simply map any trainer keys you need to any of the buttons on the 360 controller. With xpadder you won't even need to remap the trainer buttons since it accepts numpad keys.

Yes I did try this many times.
Even if you link your trainer Devil Trigger = R
and in game gamepad settings R = LR, it still wont work.

But Xpadder might be the way.
