actually the question is
Dante is better or nero ?
maybe its not about the mechanics, but just their personality
but anyway there ARE limitations, you can't kick a$$ the same way with both of them. nero is slightly slower than dante, hasnt got as much combat abilitis, and its usually just trying to make a unique approach for every enemy using the devilbringer
and Dante, he is, well the brute force. SPOILER 5 styles, 4 melees, 3 guns(one of them has 6 forms), much greater speed and hit impact. so dante actually is for a$$kicking, and nero for smarta$$ing.

its just super nero. hes like that, he has infinite Ex gauge so its twice the fast, and if he got Turbo mode on, then triple times the fast.
i was just saying that nero makes it easy and strategic with his devilbringer, and since dante doesnt have it, u just got to beat the crap out of everything.

Remember, Dante is unstoppable when in DT, no one cancel his combo, but will drain his life when being hitted but "Nero" can be canceled during DT,

and did you see Dante being serious on all the mission at DMC4?, if you will say "Nero, is like Dante on DMC3, he still got serious fights on DMC3, just like nero did on 4" so be it, Dante has more experience than Nero and i ddnt see Dante using DT on cutscenes >.<

@pop33, dante has only 3 melees, Rebellion,Gilgamesh,Lucifer you cant use Yamato as an Devil Arm to be select on will, you have to use the "Dark Slayer" style to use yamato, yamato only has final judgment(new animation;space+forward+l), yamato basic combo(I,I,I).

well yes not a devils arm but it has its own style and everything

and i gotaa agree with dantes unstopabble dt gauge
i always got ****ed when i was gonna do a showdowd or smthng with nero and i got banged up will charging up.

and i sincerely hope they'll pay as much attention to dante in the fifth part as they did in the third, cuz his arsenal was neat, but not as cool as in dantes awakening

they should've brought back agni and rudra, those guys kicked @$$.
