They have said they are making a second game, but it might not be for some time as they are wanting to wait until there a demand from people wanting it then they will bring it out - its somewhere on www.joystiq.com about the end of June there is a small message about it.
IMDB does have the voice actor of Altaïr - Philip Shahbaz - as linked with the second game, listed as a 2008 project but i doubt we would see anything until 2009, with a few big releases already due, they will likely wait until there is a gap to take advantage for.
I think with the new Prince of Persia coming out this year, which is using the Assassins Creed engine, they will wait to see how that is rated first.

well yea both ac and crysis are trilogies, they just need time to make a sequel. 4 years for ac, MUST take at least 2 to make a pretty second part. and there are tons of bugs to correct.
