I had a similar problem, same with Far Cry 2. I use Vista. To fix it I ran the trainer in XP SP2 Compaibility Mode.

Explains how to disable it, whats its fore is to keep programs for messing up other programs, aka mal-ware and such, its also to prevent you from being able to use pirated software. This is why games like kotor dont work on vista very well unless disabled.

I agree. This is the first trainer I've used from Cheathappens that definitely didn't work, and I've used dozens of their trainers.

Out of the box, the unpatched trainer worked just fine. But after updating to the 1.21 patch, Cheathappens's trainer for that wouldn't work: if you start the trainer before the program, the program crashes when you hit one of the num keys. If you start the trainer during the program, the game crashes upon pressing F1 to activate.

Running the trainer in compatability mode for XP didn't solve the problem, and none of the other trainers worked.

I never found a solution for this. I am currently uninstalling the game so I can go back to the unpatched version of the game, for which Cheathappens's trainer definitely worked.

okay guys, i have finally figured it out.
1: you need to download K-Lite codec pack (google it).
2: install K-Lite.
3: now go to start->all programs->K-Lite codec pack->configuration->ffdshow video decoder.
4: in ffdshow video decoder, go to directshow control on the left, and mark where there stands: don't use ffdshow in.
5: now press edit to the right of: don't use ffdshow in, and press add button, and search for the crysis.exe in
c:/program files/electronic arts/crytek/crysis/bin32.
6: now go to www.megaupload.com/?d=UBS2BQEF, and dowmload the file.
7: replace it with the crysis exe in c:/program files/electronic arts/crytek/crysis/bin32.
8: download this cracked trainer at
www.megaupload.com/?d=QJ3HV3RS.
9: Enjoy.

I hope you dont mean a trainer from CH that you or someone else tried to remove account protection from?

no i just took the one from CH and made it run with the file i gave you to replace.

Errr the trainer would have originally worked anyway, it checks for the process running and changes opcodes. So I still dont understant what you done to consider it a cracked trainer.
