I'm currently on the loading dock level in the LV Convention Center. I've been having sound issues through the whole game, but I was able to stupidly overcome them by going into the options and setting the music volume to 0 then back to 4 and fixing it. What happens is my speakers get a jack noise (like you're plugging them into the sound card) when I load up the level. I remedied it with what I previously mentioned, but now it isn't working and when it does, one step, one shot, one noise, bam, my speakers cut out. I tested my speakers on other games and its not them, I don't have that issue. I tried reinstalling the drivers to the soundcard, didn't work, I thought I had the 5.1 reversed or something when plugged in, nope. I'm out of ideas. Here are my specs:

    AMD Athlon 64 3700
    2GB Corsair XMS PC3200
    BFG GeForce GT 9600OC
    SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio
Windows XP Prp SP2 32 bit

Graphics are killer and loading just fine, everything else is ok, I am just having this really annoying sound issue. If anyone can help me, I'd appreciate it

Well, thanks to my fiancee, I figured out the problem. Seemed that her old audigy drivers were still on her hard drive. I cleared them out and restarted the machine and now my sound works, ya-ha. Odd though, why it would only be screwing this game up and not others like CoD4 or Oblivion, but oh well, I heard that Vegas has had some issues with sound.

One more issue popped up sadly. I have to restart my computer after each mission when it goes to the next load screen. I have plenty of RAM, so, I dunno what is up with this.

I forgot to mention I am on 1.03
