I just got to play as dante and when go back..I see just red clouds..and it just seems to keep leading me in circles

you need to go throw some clouds till you get to the HellGate
where you fought with the dragon-plant-woman.
cant remeber the order cuz it took me time to get there..

you need to get till ruined church, then forest, cant remember the order but first you go up, down, right... then try by yourself some directions...

Basicly its go through the first cloud...then turn around and go back through the same cloud...then jump off the ledge to below..fight the bad guys..and go through that cloud..then you go down the rocks..and go straight forward away from from the spinning blade thing..some enemies will pop up..kill those..go forward away from all the blades to the cloud..once through that...go across the circular hole in the ground to the cloud in the north west. Once through that go to the cloud under the bridge...and that brings you to the church.
