See , I have always wondered this...I have been to over 6 countries around the world and every country I go to seems think that Pokemon is for 6-year olds! Since middle school it has been that for me , so one day my friends from the states comes and they are like pokemon fanatics and one of them is like 14 and the other 12 or something , I gave up Pokemon 7 years ago if you get my meaning. So seriously , I would just like to know....Is Pokemon for 6-year old's? Because thats what I have always thought for my entire life!

So please , shed some light here!

EDIT: I should have changed the title to "The Problem With Pokemon"

It's not for 6 year olds or 60 year olds. It's for whoever likes it until they grow out of it. Someone who likes it more, they probably won't grow out of it until they find something better or just get tired of it. It will probably take those people a little longer to grow out of it just cause they like it more. We all get tired of repetitive things, so we just don't like things like Pokemon anymore. I will say it is a game for young people, because I would hope older ones would like to do other things, but it's just something people get tired of at their own pace.

    Wow...Thats pretty good!

    I fully agree!

I grew out of it a long time ago , I got so tired of all the "mon" in the end of the names...

But I mean , some of my 14 year old friends are just crazy about it , they go to Japan to the "Poke Center" and buy stickers and stuff and put it on their DS and PSP's....It's sooo weird...

Patr1ot, the way you worded that, you almost make it seem like a bad thing to like pokemon at older ages.

The game is for whoever likes to play it. It's just that it's been labeled "uncool" or everyone just thinks it's for kids.

Granted, it does get a little repetitive, so you'll find less of the older people who enjoy playing the game on a regular basis. But they're out there...

It only makes sense that people who were around 6 years old when it came out would continue to play it. The game came out in the US in 1998, I think. That would make people 6 years old then 16 now.
In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, 'Make us your slaves, but feed us.'
